I've worked for a fair few people over the years. The good people to work for are in the minority. They had a few significant things in common.
But they were never the last one in the bar, or the first on the dance floor. A definite sense of humour but hardly the life and soul of a party. In short massive competency wrapped up in a significant shell of boring.
That's the kind of leadership we need to be encouraging.
